| This is an ultra high current output buffer amplifier with a balanced output stage. It will convert any CD player or DAC into a balanced output tube DAC / CD player (RCA output also available) . With this buffer, the output impedance of any high impedance output will be converted into a lowered output impedance , greatly enhancing the output driving capability .The signal will become more transparent, airy and dynamic for a much more natural sound.
Since this model uses large size tubes, the airy and warmth feeling is beyond description. With this models balanced output you can enjoy the best dynamic performance of full balance amplification . This unit can also be added to the output of conventional RCA output pre-amplifier in order to convert your pre-amp into a true balanced output device.
(option: balance input and balanced output versions for an addition cost of C$300 , solid oak add C$100, photo below shows the BUF-104 with dual 600 ohm RCA/XLR output version, it serves the purpose of both converting RCA into balance and converting balanced signal into RCA as well as full balanced and full RCA operations)
